I started, like many, as a Teenager and tried out different Martial Arts and Fighting Sports (available in the 90’s in Luxembourg) like Wing Chun, Kempo, Judo…

Then, in the late 90’s I discovered Jeet Kune Do – Bruce Lee’s Fighting Method, and the Filipino Fighting Art Pekiti Tirsia Kali.

As part of my personal developpement, my Journey brought me into Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.

Now specialized in this art, I brought many renowned Champions to Luxembourg like Caio Terra, Dean Lister – and most recently – Alan Moraes, Osvaldo Queixinho and Samir Chantre.

Since then, I became the official Head Coach of Ares BJJ Luxembourg.

My main goal is to share his knowledge and spread the enthusiasm for Martial Arts.

I thaught several seminars covering Jeet Kune Do, Self Defence and other Elements.

For any request feel free to contact me.

Off the Mats

Off the Mats I work as a Law Enforcement Officer. Having a full time job and being a voluntary Martial Arts Instructor is actually, for myself, a good Thing;

As my Team Ares BJJ Luxembourg is a non-profit association, we can count on the support of our community authorities. Further, not running a profit-oriented Team means that we do not have to earn an amount X to pay all of our expenses. We can concentrate on our goal without thinking about profit or money.

I am very lucky that the widely renowned association Ares BJJ opened their Door for us. It is a great honour for me to lead their Luxemburgish Branch. Further, I want to catch the opportunity to thank our Host ALMA Academy in Dudelange for welcoming us in their facility and be part of their program.

As the Ares BJJ Philosophy says:

We agree that in the end of our journey, our friends and family are the ones that will be by our side; not business relationships, which tend to end when the interest is gone.

My most vehement supporters is my family; foremost my amazing wife and our little Sunshine. Even though my wife is not a martial arts enthusiast at all, she always supports my activities. We actually combine my trips for seminars and competitions with holiday activities, which is an amazing adventure.

Thank you all!
